					<description>Thank you for sharing this wisdom. Lenore and Vicki have the answers for parents who are willing to let the panic and prevention mentality go. Lenore's message is helpful for the full range of worriers: from low-grade worrying parents all the way to the full throttle panic parents who spoon feed their 13 year-old kids - literally and figuratively. Hearing this made me aware of my lurking irrational, catastrophic thoughts about kids driving (two years away for the first one- pathetic!) and the more subtle range that I should initiate rather than wait to come up (competent bikers riding 7 miles to school on narrow roads). Moving forward with a more deliberate approach. I believe that avoiding media and news that fuels so much worry would bring the pulse down for most people.</description>
